Analyst – Problem Management job vacancy at Dubai Airports.
The team provides and supports the systems that bring the business together. that means maintaining all it from the most basic desktop support to the most complex flight information systems. they’re game changers for the industry by bringing us smart developments and advanced processes which revolutionise what we do.
The Role will be responsible for leading the execution of BT problem management life-cycle process, the role will be responsible to review the Problem Trends, Planning and Driving Improvement Plan and be proactive in identifying problems, analyze and recommend Service Improvement with the possible solutions obtained from various technical teams
The job holder will be acting as Single point of contact for all infrastructure and application problems, Responsible for Ownership and Coordination of actions of those problem, analyze root cause, identify Known Error and coordinating actions to fix the error.
The job holder will Ensure standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient problem management process. Communicate and prompt handling of all problem identified for BT infrastructure and Application.
The job holder expected to lead the communication with various support, operation, Supplier, vendors and customers team to identify the root cause of a problem and find a workaround or solution
The overall goal being to minimize both the number and severity of incidents and potential problems to the business/organization.
Qualifications and Education
Degree Level or Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Computer Science or equivalent field.
ITIL V3 and ISO2000 Service Operation Qualification are required.
ISO2000 and COBIT Qualification are preferable.
PMBOK, PMP Qualification would be preferable
They should be able to understands and uses appropriate methods, tools and applications. Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to work. Identifies and negotiates own development opportunities. Has sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with customers, suppliers and partners. Able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons.
Knowledge of the Aviation industry and aviation solution is preferable but not mandatory
Knowledge in information technology operation management process in enterprise is Mandatory
Knowledge of Implementing Problem Management process is Mandatory
Knowledge of Network Connectivity (LAN / WAN) Win2000 Server, Active Directory DHCP, DNS and other Microsoft BackOffice products.
Knowledge of hardware and software repairing (Desktops, Laptops, Telephony, Tetra Radio, FIDS ..etc )
Knowledge of the existing technology services and current schemes at Dubai Airports, or similar airports/organizations
Demonstrable skills commensurate with fulfilling the role of lead specialist on problem Management.
